The process of wood treatment for hardwood is quite extensive of which requires constant supervision by our team of specialist. We have years of experience of treating timber by pressure treating timber with the CCA treatment, the durability of timber is enhanced tremendously. CCA Treatment is a waterborne copper chrome arsenic preservative used for preserving timber. During the treatment process the three active ingredients are pressure treated to the wood. Each has a function to perform: Copper is the fungicide to prevent rot, Arsenic is the insecticide to prevent insect attack and Chrome fixes them both to the timber in a chemical reaction. When the treatment process is over and the timber is dry the fixation is permanent thus keeping the chemicals from washing out. The long term effectiveness of CCA has been established throughout the world.
